Horse Trail Policies:
1. All riders must sign a release of liability form prior to riding.
2. A negative coggins test must be presented to the park office
for each horse brought onto the park.
3. Horses must be brought onto the park in a trailer and cannot
be unloaded except at the staging areas.
4. Riding of horses is confined to designated and marked horse
trails. No riding on roadways, pedestrian trails or powerline
right of ways.
5. The horse trail camping area is limited to those campers who
confirm a site with the park office prior to setting up. A fee of
$23/RV and $21/tent per site is required per night.
6. Trail riding fees of $10 per day or an annual riding pass of $60
are required and can be purchased from the park office.
The horse trail is 12 miles in length and consists of three separate loops. Each loop is blazed blue, red and orange as indicated on map.
A Georgia ParkPass is required to be displayed on all vehicles in the park. Visitors may purchase a daily pass for $5 or an annual pass for $50 at the park office.
All park rules and regulations are posted for your convenience at the park office and must be observed by all park visitors.

From the stop light in Crawfordville, turn left onto US 278 East.
Go one mile, turn left onto GA Hwy. 47 North and go 19 miles.
The hospital is on the left as you enter the city limits.
