Earth Day is just around the corner, so spend the day learning about Mother Earth. Programs include guided hikes, recycled crafts, wildlife presentations, and stick around that afternoon for an Easter Egg hunt. During the evening we will be hosting a Campfire, so bring your best skits, songs, and of course Marshmallows $5 parking. 706-857-0826.

Get Outdoors Georgia Get Wild

This event will give you the opportunity to "Get Wild" about wildlife and nature. Enjoy a live bird of prey program, stop by a booth to learn about reptiles, and much more. Come early and get wild. $3 per person. $10 for a family of four. Children under 3 are free. $5 parking. 706-857-0826.

Get Outdoors Georgia Twisted Ankle Marathon

James H. (Sloppy) Floyd State Park - Summerville, GA
The Twisted Ankle Marathon and Half Marathon is a hilly, sometimes technical run through Sloppy Floyd Park and along Taylor's Ridge, the majority of which is in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Training for this run should be done on hilly trails. There is a registration fee to participate in Marathon. $5 parking. 706-857-0826.
