Sweetwater Creek State Park - Lithia Springs, GA
Join other volunteers as we clean the park land near the lake on the Northern Causeway. Wear old clothes, closed toe shoes, bring work gloves and your lunch. We will work from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and then break for lunch. Beginning at 2:00 p.m. we will offer two programs, a History Hike or a Snakes Alive Program. We will meet at picnic shelter 770-732-5871.

Get Outdoors Georgia Rivers Alive Little River Clean Up

It's time again for the annual River's Alive Little River cleanup. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own kayaks and canoes to join the paddling team down the river for trash collecting. Boats are available at half price rental. The lake cleanup crew will be walking the lake perimeter removing trash from the water’s shores. $5 boat rental. $5 parking. 229-896-3551.
