Park Paddlers Club
How the Club Works

What's the secret to the perfect outdoor experience? Just add water. The Park Paddlers Club offers an abundance of scenic waterways (22 miles in all) to explore, for both seasoned paddlers and wet-behind-the-ears beginners. The club was designed to get Georgians off their couches and into a more fun, active lifestyle by taking advantage of our state's natural resources.

To join, paddlers of all skill levels buy a $10 membership card at any one of the 6 participating state parks in Georgia. Membership card are also available by calling 770-389-7401 or sending an email to After visiting all 6 parks and paddling 24 miles, members earn their own t-shirt and more importantly bragging rights. They vary in difficulty, so riders have the chance to improve their skill level as they paddle from park to park. It's also a great chance to take in unique scenery and wildlife.

Some sites may be affected by drought conditions and low water.  Please make sure to call ahead and verify that the water trail is open. All members must know how to swim, children must be 3 years of age or older, and personal flotation devices are required for everyone. You may bring your own canoe or kayak.
