Birthday Parties
Whether turning 6 or 60, we can make your birthday a celebration to remember long after the last slice of cake is gone.  In addition to our comfortable gathering spaces, partygoers will enjoy playgrounds, nature trails, fishing, swimming, pedal boats, mini-golf, ranger programs and beautiful scenery without ever leaving the park.

Group Shelter at Georgia State Parks
Group Shelters - Enclosed group shelters have tables and chairs for 50 to 250, kitchens, restrooms, heat and air conditioning, and adjacent parking. Many have large barbecue pits as well.  Guests are welcome to bring their own food and adorn the shelter with balloons, flowers and other decorations.

Picnic Shelters at Georgia State Parks
Picnic Shelters Open-air shelters include several picnic tables assembled under a single roof.  Many have a barbecue pit or large grill as well, and some are near swimming areas. Parking and restrooms are nearby. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and adorn the shelter with balloons, signs and other decorations.

Party Rooms at Georgia State Parks
Party Rooms - Sweetwater Creek and Panola Mountain state parks have small rooms for rent, holding approximately 45 guests.  Both are in the metro Atlanta area, with Sweetwater Creek to the west off I-20 and Panola Mountain to the southeast, in Stockbridge.  Park rangers can sometimes offer programs such as hikes, animal shows and archery lessons to make parties even more memorable.  Panola Mountain also has a small kitchen available.

Lodge Banquet Rooms at Georgia State Parks
Lodge Banquet Rooms – Our four lodge parks have banquet rooms and catering staff to make your celebration a huge success. Guests can stay overnight in lodge rooms or cabins.  Choose from Amicalola Falls and Unicoi state parks in the mountains, and George T. Bagby and Little Ocmulgee state parks in south Georgia. The southern lodges also offer golf courses.
