Bird Watching
Home Up

Crooked River State Park is a part of the Colonial Coast Birding Trail. The Park has a wide variety of resident and migratory birds throughout the year.  Painted Bunting to Wood Stork, Kestral to Osprey, and Eastern Towhee to Cardinal are examples of the birds seen.

Please check with the Nature Center for a list of bird sightings and recordings. A illustrated identification booklet is in progress. It should be completed by late Spring 2003.
