The Nature & Education Center is located on the main road between the Park Office and the Pioneer campground. When leaving the Park Office and as you turn onto the main road to the campsites and cottages, the entrance is the 1st and 2nd dirt road to the right. It can be seen as you are driving to the camping areas. The Naturalist is available for interpretive hikes, bird watching and activities explained in the "Activities" section of our site. The Center has a classroom that can accommodate up to 40 students and a laboratory for those interested in the micro-life. Hours vary because of committments, but generally Friday through Tuesday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Scheduled hours change to serve the guests, campers and student needs. Programs can be scheduled 7 days a week from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. if desired.
