Corporate Group at Georgia State Parks
Groups at Georgia State Parks
From half-day retreats to multi-day conferences, Georgia State Parks have facilities for all types of corporate gatherings, yet our outdoor setting is the real attraction. Meeting inside state parks facilitates two purposes. It helps to clear the mind, allowing you to focus on the task at hand, and it rejuvenates your passion, preparing you to implement plans discussed during your stay.
State parks also offer cost-efficient team building through recreation. When not brainstorming and strategizing, your group can enjoy golf, boating, fishing, nature walks, swimming and an abundance of activities – all without leaving the property. Family members who come along for the trip will find plenty of activities as well.
Four hotel-style lodges offer dedicated conference coordinators and catering staff, plus on-site restaurants. Versatile meeting space can hold up to 500 attendees. Accommodations range from hotel-styl rooms to fully equipped cabins. AV equipment, team-building exercises and ranger-led programs are available. Choose from

Meeting Rooms -
In addition to the conference space available at lodges, both Sweetwater Creek and Panola Mountain state parks have small meeting rooms for rent, holding approximately 45 guests. Both are in the metro-Atlanta area, with Sweetwater Creek to the west off I-20 and Panola Mountain to the southeast, in Stockbridge.

A conference room, smaller meeting room, BBQ shelter and commercial kitchen are included. During free time, guests can enjoy fishing on the Suwannee River. Additional accommodations and activities can be found 18 miles away at Stephen C. Foster State Park.
This mountain retreat offers 17 bedrooms in six beautifully decorated cottages. Some have porches along a trophy-trout stream, while others have private hot tubs. Business groups can meet in the main house’s great room with fireplace or on the large stream-side deck.
Budget-friendly group shelters have tables and chairs for 50 to 250, kitchens, restrooms, heat and air conditioning, and adjacent parking. Many have large barbecue pits and nearby swimming areas.
