PARK CLOSURES
Severe weather may cause closures at southern parks as we near Labor Day Weekend. Stephen C. Foster State Park will close at 1 p.m. Thursday 9/1 and remain closed all of Friday 9/2. Guests should check our website for statuses of closures in the southern region.

 

Check-Out Late on Labor Day

Sleep a little later and enjoy more of your holiday when you take advantage of late check-out on Labor Day. Cottage, cabin and yurt guests can stay until 4 p.m. on Monday, September 5, with a $25 fee. Just tell the park office you want the Labor Day deal when you check in. (Available only on accommodations not reserved for the following day.)

 

Site-Specific Camping Now Available at Select Parks

Campsite at Reed BinghamHey there, campers! You're now able to request your favorite campsite number and be sure it’s still available when you arrive at 4 different parks. The entire campgrounds at James H. Floyd (Summerville), Amicalola Falls (Dawsonville) and Richard B. Russell (Elberton) are site-specific, while select sections of Reed Bingham (Adel) and Laura S.
