A Independence Day corn grind
Get Outdoors Georgia
 This event has already occurred.

Come celebrate our nation’s independence, by stepping back in time and watching history in action. From 11am to 3pm we will be grinding cornmeal and grits, by way of our 1921 water-powered gristmill. In addition to the corn grind, our textile museum will be open for tours. Both cornmeal and grits will be available for purchase and the Friends of Hamburg SORA will be selling refreshments as well. Feel free to call 706-456-2602 for more information. A $5.00 parkpass is required on all vehicles.
