Join us for a guided hike to the observation tower, and look for firefly nymphs by the river. Meet at the picnic table by the boat ramp in shoes good for a 1.5 mile hike. $5 parking. 770-254-7271.

Directions given on Google Maps excludes the last right on Flatrock Road. Please use the following directions:

DIRECTIONS: From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Hwy. 34 (Bullsboro Blvd.). Go west .8 miles. Turn right onto Hwy. 34 Bypass (M Farmer Industrial Blvd.) and go 6 miles. Turn right onto Hwy. 34 (Franklin Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight .9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
