"Rivers Alive" Cleanup
Rivers Alive is Georgia's annual waterway cleanup event that targets all waterways in the state. The mission of Rivers alive is to create awareness of and involvement in the preservation of Georgia's water resources. We will be cleaning up around Sweetwater Creek and Sparks Reservoir. A limited number of Rivers Alive t-shirts will be available.

Do not rely on GPS units for directions to this park. Take I-20 west from Atlanta, exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn left and go 1/4 mile. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left on Mount Vernon Road and proceed to the park.
