175 Years: Cherokee Trail of Tears Memorial Service

 This event has already occurred.

In May 1838, State Militia and Federal Troops started the removal of Cherokee Indians from their homeland in Georgia and surrounding states. Join us for a memorial service including speakers from the Cherokee Nation, Eastern Band of Cherokee, United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee and National Trail of Tears Association. Participating will be Tommy Wildcat, All Nations Warrior Society Honor Guard, Medicine Ridge Singers, Sammy Still and Jack Baker.

Admission: $5-$6.50 (free for service only)
