Lurking in the shadows behind the pomp and glory, beneath all the patriotic fervor, and thrill of battle, and even the serene camaraderie of the campfire, awaited enemies more dread and sinister than all the bullets on the continent. Ignorance and disease lay in store for everyone. During this period three men died of disease compared to one who died on the battlefield. After this presentation you will view the Civil War in entirely different terms. $9 adults; $8.50 seniors; $6 youth 912-264-7333.
