On May 11, 1865 A.H. Stephens was arrested and charged with treason. Come out and experience a live reenactment of this event. We will also be reenacting his homecoming that took place on October 27, 1865.

On May 11, 1865 A.H. Stephens was arrested and charged with treason. Come out and experience a live reenactment of his arrest, along with his homecoming, that took place on October 27, 1865. Join our live performers as they experience the sadness of his arrest and celebration of his return to his "beloved" Liberty Hall. 706-456-2602.

Directions:
Take I-20 exit #148. Go 2 miles and cross the junction of Hwy. 22 and Hwy. 278. Turn right onto MLK Jr. Dr. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Alexander Street. Follow signs to park office.
