Winter is the perfect time to prepare wildflower gardens, control invasive plants, and give wildlife a helping hand. Join us to learn about invasive plants and garden preparation. Plus, we will have wildlife crafts for the kid in us all. "Scout" the state gopher will be here in the afternoon.

9:30 am -The morning will start with a very short introduction of caring for wildlife.

10 am-12 pm - UGA extension agent Paul Pugliese will be at the park talking about invasive species and wildflower gardens.

12:30 pm - The historical use of the Kanona for grinding corn will be demonstrated.

1:30 - 3:00 pm "Crafts with Scout"
- "Peanut Free" Pine-cone bird-feeders
