Spruce Up - Your State Parks Day

Come join other volunteers for a day of service at the park. Volunteers will be working on a variety of projects that include lake clean up with River's Alive and the Cooperative Extension Office, park clean up, and building a pollinator garden.

River's Alive Clean Up 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Join volunteers as they clean up around the lake. Free T-shirts provided by River's Alive while they last. Special prizes awarded at the end of the clean up. Park Clean Up and Pollinator Garden: 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM: Join volunteers as they spruce up the park and build a pollinator garden for butterflies in our serenity garden area. Some tools will be provided but supplies are limited. Please bring your own gloves and eye protection and dress accordingly. Also don't forget the bug spray and sunscreen. Food and water will be provided to volunteers by the Friends of Laura S. Walker State Park.
