Guided Hike - Stone Wall, Fire Tower, Overlook Trail
Join us for a guided hike along our ancient rock wall, stone fire tower and west overlook trail. This is a moderately rocky mile long hike. Closed toe shoes required. Please sign up in the office.
Our first stop on this moderately rocky mile long hike will be the ancient rock wall that Fort Mountain is famous for. After stopping here we will continue onto the fire watch tower that was built in the early 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corp. A ranger will then lead the group to the west overlook to look out over Chatsworth, Eton, and the surrounding areas before heading back to the parking lot. Closed toe shoes required, please sign up in the office.
