The evening will start with a sensory hike, where we will learn to use all of our senses to make the night come alive. Our hike will then end at Lake Buncombe, where you will see and learn about star constellations and get a great view the Perseid meteor shower. We will be meeting in the parking lot at Shelter #3 also known as the BBQ pit.

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring your favorite camping chair, blanket, flashlight and join us for a great evening. $4.00 plus $5 parking. 706-456-2602.

Directions:
Take I-20 exit #148. Go 2 miles and cross the junction of Hwy. 22 and Hwy. 278. Turn right onto MLK Jr. Dr. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Alexander Street. Follow signs to park office.
