Intro to Birdwatching, Nature Journaling, and Pinecone Birdfeeders
 This event has already occurred.

Status: Archived
Enjoy several bird-related activities at the park. From 9-10 AM we'll learn the basics of binoculars, use them to identify common birds, and then draw the birds we see. Then from 12:30-1:30 PM we'll be making pinecone birdfeeders for you to hang up at the park or take home. Meet in the Discovery Room at the Park Office.

Bring binoculars if you have them. There will be several pairs available for use. Children with peanut allergies can make birdfeeders using crisco instead of peanut butter.

Admission: $1 for pinecone birdfeeders.
Parking fee: $5
Event Phone: 770-975-0055
