July 14: Junior rangers will go on a tree ID hike and construct leaf prints to take home.

July 16: Using natural plant dyes, Junior Rangers will tie-dye their very own t-shirt and make a friendship bracelet out of naturally dyed fibers. Junior Rangers will need to bring their own t-shirts.

July 21: Insects: Friends or Foes? Jr Rangers will learn about different insects that are beneficial to people: wasps, bees and spiders! Then, children will make an insect craft to take home.

July 23: Pioneers and Indians: Junior rangers will learn to make a "bow and arrows" from household items and learn how pioneers lived in this region of Georgia.

July 28: Junior Rangers Lake Ecology: Junior Rangers will learn about life in the lake, make a fish craft and play water games.

July 30: Junior Rangers will practice their paddling skills with a ranger-led canoe program. $10. 706-541-0321.
