Log Cabin Bunkhouses

Watson Mill Bridge State Park, Comer

Overnight visitors may rent three bunkhouses, two of which are connected by an 1800s “dogtrot” (two lofts on each side with a breezeway running through the middle). Each bunkhouse is rented separately and accommodates eight guests.  Pets are not allowed.
Each bunkhouse has two full-size beds and three futons (one with a single bunk bed on top). Guests must provide their own linens. Since cooking is not allowed inside units, a grill, fire ring and picnic table are provided. Each has its own heat/air conditioning controls, lights, electrical outlets and small refrigerator.

An unheated bathhouse with one flush toilet, sink and hot shower is located 30 yards from the bunkhouses and is shared with equestrian campers. A water spigot is just 15 feet away. The bunkhouses and restroom are ADA accessible.
Many bunkhouse guests enjoy sitting on the front porch and watching horses pass by since the facilities are located near the park’s stables.
