    before and during visits are designed to ensure a quality learning experience.

    Hours of Operation:  Tuesday-Sunday 9 AM-5 PM
    Monday, Closed except holidays
    Closed Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day
    Admission: $4.00 school children; $2.50 (under 5)
    Group rates available with advance notice.
    Dress: Students should dress for an outdoor field trip appropriate to the
    weather. Comfortable walking shoes and insect repellent are advisable.

    *Restrooms, museum and theater building handicapped accessible. Outdoor area wheelchair accessible with varying degree of difficulty. Our staff, if advised in advance, will try to accommodate whenever possible.

    Special Park and Historic Site Rules:
    Wormsloe State Historic Site is owned by the state of Georgia and operated by the Department of Natural Resources, Parks and Historic Sites Division. Visitors are reminded that others may also be touring the site. Climbing on ruins is strictly prohibited. All plants, animals and historic features are protected by law.

    A formal interpretive program is offered at Wormsloe. However, groups are limited to no more than 100 persons and should be scheduled for about a two-hour visit to allow maximum advantage. It is recommended that one adult accompany every ten to twelve students. Reservations should be made two weeks in advance.
