Amicalola Falls State Park & LodgeThe Night Amicalola Went to the Birds!
Rate Code: BIRD

Ever wanted to spend an evening getting up close and personal with Zeus and Fabio?  Would you like to share a ghost story or two with Owl Capone or Goliath?  Or how about learning the secrets of high flying and speedy diving from Sir Lands a Lot and Moseby?

Join us at The Lodge on Tuesday September 24th, October 29th and November 26th from 7-9 p.m. for a special extended Birds of Prey program with all of Amicalola’s Rehabilitation & Education Program birds.  Our Naturalists will go in great depth about the facts, and fiction, of Georgia raptors.  You’ll learn about how sometimes the smallest can make the biggest sounds.  And if that is not enough, you will experience firsthand just how size and shape impact a raptor’s speed and power.  PLUS, don’t forget your cell phones and cameras as we will have an extended Kodak moment where everyone can take close-up one on one photographs with each of our magnificent birds.  Admission for this special bird encounter is only $3.00 per person, or $10.00 for a family of 4.

Then spend the evening with us . . . The Lodge will be offering two lodge room specials for the following nights:
Monday September 23rd - Wednesday September 25th
Monday October 28th - Wednesday, October 30th
Monday November 25th - Wednesday, November 27th

$99.00* for a Mountain View Double, with 2 double beds, that can sleep a maximum of 4 guests and includes 4 passes to the bird show.
$119.00* for a Mountain View Loft that has 3 double beds and can sleep a maximum of 6 guests and includes 6 passes to the bird show.
* All rooms subject to sales and hotel/motel taxes. Subject to availability and other restrictions.

The Maple Restaurant will be open that evening at 5:00 p.m. for dinner so you’ll be able to check-in at 4, have a relaxing dinner, and enjoy a marvelous evening as we present The Night Amicalola Falls Went to the Birds .
