Easter Egg Hunts in Georgia’s State Parks

ATLANTA, March 7, 2014 -- If the little ones in your family are excited about Easter, start the celebration early by joining an egg hunt. Several Georgia State Parks are hosting events where children can fill their baskets with goodies and work off energy on playgrounds. Covered picnic shelters and enclosed group shelters can be reserved for large family potlucks and barbecues. Glow-In-The-Dark Easter Egg Hunt

Fort Yargo Easter Egg Hunt

Fort Yargo State Park - Winder, GA

Earth Day is just around the corner, so spend the day learning about Mother Earth. Programs include guided hikes, recycled crafts and wildlife presentations.
