Home School in the Park: Plants of Reed Bingham

Join a ranger to learn about some of the native plants that can be found in the park. We will collect plant specimens and use them to make informative booklets. Session 1 (ages 5-10 at 9:30-11:30 am) Session 2 (ages 10-13 at 1-3 pm) Pre-registration by May 18th is required.

Session 1 (ages 5-10 at 9:30-11:30 am) will include a nature walk to collect leaves for a tree craft booklet. We will identify each leaf and learn a little about each plant we collect. Session 2 (ages 10+ at 1-3 pm) we will also include a nature walk to collect leaves for a pressed leaf booklet. We will identify and learn information about each plant we collect.
