Join the Naturalist each Friday for a kid-friendly activity at the park. Kids need to be dressed to play outside, please bring water and sunscreen. June 2:World of Bugs, June 9:Fish Fun, June 16:Color Crazy, June 23:Water Fun, June 30:Habitats, July 7:Butterflies and Bees, July 14:Water Fun, July 21:All About Birds, July 28:Predator vs. Prey

Each week the naturalist will have a variety of activities to teach kids more about the world around them. June 2:World of Bugs - Take a close look at the creepy crawlies all around us. We will take closer looks at bugs, spiders, ants and worms. June 9:Fish Fun - We will take a closer look at the fish found in our lake. This day will include seining and fishing so be prepared to get wet! June 16:Color Crazy - Animals and plants come in all sorts of colors. We will go on a mini hike to see how many colors we can find. June 23:Water Fun - Be prepared to get wet! From sprinklers, water games and a refreshing popsicle we will spend out day stay cool June 30:Habitats - Come discover what kind of habitats the animals of Mistletoe need to survive. July 7: Butterflies and Bees - Pollinators are an important part of our environment. We will spend the day learning about pollinators and watching them in our butterfly garden. July 14: Water Fun Be prepared to get wet! From sprinklers, water games and a refreshing popsicle we will spend out day stay cool July 21: All About Birds - Take a closer look at the birds that call Georgia their home. July 28: Predator vs. Prey - What makes a predator a good hunter? Why is camouflage so important to prey? Come out for the day and learn more about predators and prey in the park.
