Solar Eclipse Festival

Monday, Aug 21, 2017 (1 PM to 3 PM)

Come watch a total solar eclipse at our park which will be in the direct path of seeing a total eclipse. The total eclipse has not happened in the United State of America since 1979. The event will take place in the helicopter pad (field) next to the campground.

Schools are encouraged to bring your students to watch this event. There will be different stations set up to make your own viewing instrument as well as instruments set up for people to view the eclipse. There will be activities to participate in while we are waiting for the eclipse. Experts will be on hand to answer questions about the eclipse.
