This trip will start on the Lakeside Trail, which makes a 0.5 mile loop around a restored 1869 log cabin with field and woodland habitats and a view of Allatoona Lake. Discover the park's iron-mining history by touring an iron mine with a park ranger, visiting our blacksmith, etching a scratch block, and watching an iron pour. Scratch blocks go on sale at 2:00.
