White Trail ~ 1.1 Miles
This trail leads you from the ravine overlook at the Visitor Center to the left of the Confederate battle line. The trail carries you alongside a once flourishing Wheatfield down to the initial Federal position. From there you follow the route of the Federals down into the ravine tracing the route of the assault up the ravine returning to the Visitor Center. Along the way you will see original Civil War entrenchments, artillery emplacements, wagon roads, and beautiful, pristine forest.

Blue Trail ~ 1.5 Miles
This trail leads you from the ravine overlook at the Visitor Center along the Confederate battle line down to Pickett’s Mill. From the mill you follow the creek leading up a steep hill to the initial Federal position. From there you follow the route of the Federals down into the ravine tracing the route of the assault up the ravine returning to the Visitor Center. Along the way you will see original Civil War entrenchments, artillery emplacements, wagon roads, and beautiful, pristine forest.

Red Trail ~ 2.0 Miles
This trail leads you from the ravine overlook at the Visitor Center along the Confederate battle line towards Pickett’s Mill. The trail yields right leading you towards the infamous cornfield that almost caused the defeat of the Confederates. From the field you continue along the trail down to Pickett’s Mill where you follow the creek leading up a steep hill to the initial Federal position. From there you follow the route of the Federals down into the ravine tracing the route of the assault up the ravine returning to the Visitor Center. Along the way you will see original Civil War entrenchments, artillery emplacements, wagon roads, and beautiful, pristine forest.

Brand House Trail ~ 3.0 Miles
This trail leads you from the ravine overlook at the Visitor Center to the left of the Confederate battle line. The trail carries you alongside a once flourishing Wheatfield down to the initial Federal position. The trail then leads down past a Civil War field hospital across the creek to the once standing Brand House. From the house site you follow some of the best-preserved Civil War trenches down to the creek and back to the initial Federal position. From there you follow the route of the Federals down into the ravine tracing the route of the assault up the ravine returning to the Visitor Center. Along the way you will see original Civil War entrenchments, artillery emplacements, wagon roads, and beautiful, pristine forest.

Cabin Trail ~ .5 Mile
This trail leads you to our newly restored, historic 1850’s log cabin. The cabin was originally located several miles north of its current location. Pickett’s Mill rescued the cabin from certain destruction and has restored it to its former glory. Today the cabin is used for interpretive programs for all ages. Upon arrival you will see the restored cabin, a corncrib, and a smoke house.
