Little White House
Now through September 30, 2013
The legacy of President Roosevelt is wide and far reaching. Post Offices, schools, bridges, roads, airports, national and state parks built by the WPA or the CCC are everywhere. Dams and waterways of the TVA cross several states. Theaters and playgrounds dot the nation. The list of accomplishments under the wing of FDR is beyond imagination, or is it?
Join us for this summer's photography contest. The themes are: "The Little White House" and "FDR Did That". Show us how creative you can get with images taken in and around the Little White House. Next, take a photo of an FDR era (New Deal or WWII) landmark, building and/or park, anywhere in the world, and mail your 8"X10" printed images for public viewing and voting.
Visitors to the Little White House photo contest will view and vote for the "Peoples Choice" and the winners will receive a Friends of GA State Parks Family Membership.
