4th ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST
(October 1, 2009 - August 16, 2010)

Entry submittal for the 2010 photo contest at Tallulah Gorge State Park (TGSP) ended at 5:00 PM on August 15, 2009. Friends of TGSP and the staff of TGSP wish to thank all those who took part in the 2009 TGSP photo contest.

2010 Friends of TGSP calendars will be available at the TGSP Interpretive Center and at businesses (craft stores, restaurants, City Building) throughout Tallulah Falls. With each $10 donation to Friends of TGSP, you will receive a free copy of the 2010 Friends TGSP calendar. All donations to Friends of TGSP go directly to projects, activities and material needs at TGSP.

Help make a difference. Donate $10 or more to Friends of TGSP and take home “the beauty of the park” in the form of our 2010 Friends of TGSP calendar.

    SUBMITTING ENTRIES:
    		  
    • This contest is from October 1st, 2009-August 16, 2010.
    • The contest is open to anyone 18 and older.
    • There is a maximum of 5 entries per person.
    • Contestants must submit their photographs digitally as .jpg files on a CD.
    • When saving your digital picture please save it as your last name and first initial. For multiple entries, include numbers 1 through 5 followed by your first initial. Example: smithj2.jpg.
    • Contest entries must be received by 5:00 pm August 16th, 2010.
    • Photo release signed by the photographer must accompany any photographs to be considered for the contest.
    • Minor digital enhancement for cropping, red-eye removal, filters, and corrective functions are permitted, but images that have been judged to be altered in any significant manner will be disqualified. Contestants are not permitted to place border, frames, or backgrounds around their images or to place watermarks, dates, signatures or copyright images onto photos.
    FORMAT:
    		  
    • Photographs must be digital, taken at 1024x768 (or higher) pixels or highest resolution possible.
    • Photographs must be in color and must be horizontal.
    • Photographs must have been taken at Tallulah Gorge State Park.
    • Photographs can include people and/or wildlife.
    • If photographs contain recognizable people, your entry must include written permission (from all people in the photograph) for both you and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to use the photo as stated below.
    USAGE:
    		  
    • Entry materials will be returned if a stamped envelope is provided with entry or if picked up in person.
    • By submitting photographs, contestants give the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Friends of Tallulah Gorge State Park non-exclusive right, including advertising, websites, promotions, publications, media relations and commercial resale use. Photo credit and compensation may not be granted Contestants retain their own usage rights.
    WINNERS:
    		 
    • There will be a minimum of 13 winners chosen.
    • Winners will have their photos published in a 2011 TGSP calendar.
    • The winners will be announced September 2010.
