Peak leaf season has come and gone at mountain parks; however, the scenery is still beautiful throughout much of middle and southern Georgia.  At S.C. Foster in the Okefenokee Swamp, cypress needles are turning copper and falling quickly, while a few maples are still glowing red.  This year's fall color has been somewhat subdued because of excessive rain and wind.
