Luxury-loving campers will enjoy the yurts at Red Top Mountain and High Falls state parks. Yurts, which are like canvas and wood tents, provide comfortable furniture inside and a grill and picnic table outside.

 
  The Hike Inn: Georgia’s Only Eco-Lodge
The Len Foote Hike Inn at Amicalola Falls State Park is reached only by hiking a scenic five-mile trail through national forest.  Since meals are included, guests carry only their personal items along the trail.  Private rooms and a centrally located bathhouse with hot showers are provided.

Maximum number of people 15. Sleeping bags, air mattresses or blanket pallets only. No tents allowed inside treehouse.

Smithgall Woods Conservation Area & Lodge - an upscale and unique natural setting with the seclusion and rustic charm of a private mountain estate.

Unicoi State Park – covered Squirrel's Nest camping platforms

Watson Mill Bridge State Park – log cabin bunkhouse near the equestrian camping area

Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center - managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, offers outdoor education programs, day camps, environmental education teacher workshops, outdoor recreational and fishing opportunities, conference center, banquet hall and lodging.
