Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at a state park or historic site is an excellent way to make a difference in your community, meet new people and enjoy the great outdoors. Individuals, families, clubs and companies are needed to help with projects such as trail adoption, historical research, gardening, bird counts, building projects, re-enactments and campground hosting.

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites is host to around 17 million visitors a year. Many of our visitors are interested in attending a guided trail hike, wildlife demonstration or interpretive tour. Every day bus loads of school, church and scout groups visit and request an interpretive program, hike or lecture.
