YURTS COMING TO SWEETWATER CREEK STATE PARK
“Glamping” is growing! Late this summer, Sweetwater Creek State Park will unveil its new Yurt Village. Yurts are like a cross between a cabin and a tent, perfect for those who enjoy creature comforts in the great outdoors.
 
FIRST-TIME CAMPER PROGRAM
Long-time campers know the fun of making s’mores over the fire, but for those who have never slept in a tent before, spending the night outdoors can be an unfamiliar adventure. Through our First-Time Camper Program, curious guests can see if they enjoy sleeping under the stars before investing in their own gear. This year, the program expands to include 13 Georgia State Parks.
