Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites
We'll help you find the best places to enjoy fall color in Georgia. Mountain parks are at or near peak now.  Some trees have already dropped most of their leaves, but most others still have bright canopies. At lower elevations, the forest is a mix of green with some pretty reds, yellows and golds. Typically, peak color in the north Georgia mountains is in early November. Because cabins and campsites fill up quickly during leaf-watching season, visitors should make reservations as soon as possible.
