Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites

We're looking forward to a beautiful autumn season. Typically, fall color peaks in late October through early November in northern Georgia. Right now, forests are still predominently green, with a few spots of color in the understory. Sourwood and dogwood have already begun turning. Bright wildflowers such as jewel weed, cardinal flower and ironweed dot the landscape. Check back often for updates on how color is progressing in Georgia's State Parks.
