Curious about the birds in your backyard, or how bees carry pollen? Do you want to know more about the importance of bats in Georgia? This year, rangers are offering programs focused on birds, bats, and pollinators. We invite you to take flight with us as you explore Georgia’s State Parks and Historic Sites.

Experience Programs such as:

  • Bee analysis under microscopes
  • Learn backyard birds
  • Bird folklore
  • Pinecone bird feeders
  • Pollinator garden instruction
  • Bat programs
  • Coastal birding hikes
  • Light pollution and birds
  • Seasonal bird experiences

Completing the Georgia State Parks Take Flight Series

If you attend four Take Flight programs, you will receive a prize from Georgia State Parks. Just get a free card from any Georgia State Park or Historic Site. Have a ranger initial your card every time you complete a program. Once you have attended four programs, email a picture of your card to ParksRFun@dnr.ga.gov and we will mail you the prize.
