Have you ever wanted to see a meteor shower but didn't know where to go? Join us at Lake Kolomoki in the campground to paddle in a kayak, canoe, or jon boat of your choice. Pre-registration is required. Life jackets and paddles will be provided. This is an event you do not want to miss! $10 per person to use a park boat/ $5 per person to bring your own $5 parking. 229-724-2150.

October is a prime month to see fall migrants and arriving winter resident birds as well as our familiar year-round species. Bob Kornegay and Renea Todd will be leading the program who are active bird watchers of the local area. Meet at the day use area near the beach.
