Mother's Day with Mother Nature

Do something different from the usual Mother's Day dinner. Bring your mom out the the park for a day of service and fun. We will begin in the park's flower beds picking out undesirables. Then we will go on a hike on Big Creek Nature Trail. When we return, we will plant some seeds to take home and begin the baked goods potluck. $5 parking. 912-287-4900.

Spread Like Wildflowers

Invasive Wipeout

We will perform a morning service project of wiping out the park's invasive plant species. An invasive species control workshop will follow, tailored to a typical land/yard owner's needs.
