James Floyd State Park allows private boats with an electric trolling motor of 10hp or less. There are two boat ramps, one for the Upper Lake and one for the Lower Lake. Loaner life jackets are available at the Park Office. Private boating is allowed from 7 am to sunset. All crafts must be off the lake by dark.
