Indian Ford Farms Dove Field

Indian Ford Farms Dove Field is a 100 acre property located near Lyons. Hunting opportunities include a Youth Quota Dove Hunt. Hunters must sign-in at check station at 12:00 P.M. Maps and instructions will be provided at sign-in. Hunt is 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM. No ATVs. Hunters must use open gates to access fields.

This dove field is only open during quota hunt dates.

Appling County Dove Field

The Appling County Dove Field is 110 acres of dove fields open the first three Saturdays of dove season.


Voluntary Public Access Area

Appling County Dove Field is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.

GloCrest Dairy Dove Field

GloCrest Dairy Dove Field is a 116 acre property with opportunity for quota dove hunting. Hunters may start checking in at 5:30 am on the morning of the hunt and hunters may hunt until noon. No blinds, buckets, seats or other devices may be placed on the field until the hunter has checked in. No standbys.

Seabolt Farms Dove Field

Seabolt Farms Dove Field is a 61 acre property with opportunity for quota dove hunting. Hunters may start checking in at 5:30 am on the morning of the hunt and hunters may hunt until noon. No blinds, buckets, seats or other devices may be placed on the field until the hunter has checked in. No standbys.

This dove field is only open during quota hunt dates. 

Camp Thunder VPA

Camp Thunder VPA is a 1,627 acre property located outside of Thomaston. Opportunities include archery hunting for deer, turkey and small game during state seasons. No ATVs or camping allowed. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select the Private Land option.

Cardinal Tract VPA

The Cardinal Tract is a 161 acre tract located near Adel. Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey and small game during state seasons. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select the Private Land option.


Voluntary Public Access Area 

Anderson Farms Dove Field

The Anderson Farms Dove Field is 127 acres of dove fields open every Saturday during dove season. Hunting is restricted to mourning doves, and only on marked fields.
