Programs - Smithgall Woods State Park

Smithgall Woods Regional Education Center (SWREC) was established at Smithgall Woods - Dukes Creek Conservation Area in 1997. SWREC offers programs for students of all ages as well as teacher workshops to help teachers learn more about North Georgia's ecosystems and unique opportunities available at Smithgall Woods.

Check our events for weekends programs and see below to schedule your group for weekday events. Grab a free interpretive pamphlet and hike any of the six nature trails located in the park. Only the Laurel Ridge Trail is open during scheduled hunts.
