Marben PFA

Marben Public Fishing Area is located within Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and Clybel WMA, a 6,400-acre area with 20 different ponds, ranging in size from 1 to 95 acres. The ponds are intensively managed for fishing and offer anglers the opportunity to fish for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Crappie, and Redear Sunfish. Ponds are specially equipped with fish attractors consisting of PVC pipes and other components to allow those fishing from the shore ample opportunity.

For general fishing information, check the information board or stop by the Visitor Center off Elliott Trail during operating hours. Maps of the area are also available for visitors at the information kiosks.

The Dove Pond is open to harvest annually from June–August. The Dove Pond is open to anglers under the age of 16 and 5 catfish may be kept per child. Fishing is prohibited for anglers 16 and over.
