Exciting improvements coming in 2025!

Fort Yargo’s popular day-use area is in need of expanding and major upgrades, so it will close November 15, 2023 until spring 2025. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will enjoy all of the new amenities.

• Beach and Swimming Area – space increased by 25%, with stone seats walls, fully accessible ramps and sidewalks, and foot showers
• New Beach Pavilion – showers, restrooms, trading post, grab-and-go meals
• Group Shelter A -- renovated to accommodate larger groups, weddings and celebrations
• Splash Pad
• Miniature Golf
• Pickleball
• Picnic Areas and Grills
• Boat Rental
• Bike Racks
• Full ADA Accessibility
• Parking – number of spaces tripled
