Golf Advisor Recognizes Coral Hospitality-Managed Golf Courses in 2017 Rankings

Brasstown Valley Resort and Riverwood Golf Club Named Top Courses in the Country.

Golf Advisor, the leading source of golfer ratings and reviews, released its annual lists of the top U.S. golf courses by segment and four Coral Hospitality courses received top billing.

Located two hours north of Atlanta, Brasstown Valley Resort Golf Course was honored as Best of Golf Advisor (#21), highlighting the top 50 courses in the U.S., as well as the #4 course in Georgia. Additionally, Brasstown was named as one of the Top 25 Friendliest Courses in the U.S. (#11) and Top 25 Off-Course Amenities in the U.S. (#24). Designed by Denis Griffiths, the golf course at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa winds through wildlife preserves, ponds and streams framed in by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and offers a spectacular golf experience with scenery as breathtaking as the play is challenging.

Golf Advisor awarded Meadow Links Golf Course at George T. Bagby State Park & Lodge the coveted #1 spot on the Top 25 Value Courses in the U.S. list and #2 in the Top 25 Courses for Pace of Play in the U.S. Additionally, the course was named as a top course in Georgia (#16). Known for its links-style layout, Meadow Links is a challenging course perfectly designed into the gentle rolling hills of the South Georgia countryside and feature large greens that offer subtle breaks, lush green fairways and creatively-designed traps that provide additional definition.

Considered to be one of Southwest Florida’s premier courses, Riverwood Golf Club was ranked #36 on the 2017 Best of Golf Advisor list, and holds the #5 spot in Florida. With heavy wooded terrain along the front nine and lush landscaping meandering amid salt marsh and wetlands on the back, each hole of this Gene Bates designed course is challenging, taking advantage of its natural setting.

Wallace Adams Course at Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge was also named a top course in Georgia, coming in at #20. A hidden gem of the South, Wallace Adams Golf Course is surrounded by loblolly pines, willows and magnolias, in a gracious and secluded setting. Interestingly, the original first nine holes of the course were designed by O.C. Jones, of the renowned Robert Trent Jones family, offering challenges for both experienced and beginner golfers.
