The State of Georgia is preparing for sub-freezing temperatures to move through. To assist homeowners who may lose power and stranded motorists, Georgia State Parks are opening warming stations for public use. Park Pass fees will be waived for those using these facilities.
Pets are welcome at state park warming stations if leashed (no longer than six feet) and accompanied by the owner at all times. Pets may not be left unattended. Crates/travel kennels are strongly encouraged.
